Call For Couture Festival

The Call for Couture Festival has started (October 10th - October 31st).

185 of the best fashion brands are involved. All the designers have a limited edition item that can be bought only through auction (50% of the final bid goes to charity) AND a related prêt-à-porter item you can buy immediately. More info on the official blog.

These are my submissions:

The Haute Couture gown.



The inspiration was Aurora, the Roman Goddess of Dawn. The color, a delicate rosy hue with golden highlights, and the fabric, soft silk with sparkly sequins details, try to capture the idea of the first beams in the morning. The cut, empire style, is reminiscent of the Roman Iconography.



The prêt-à-porter dress keeps the feel of the auction item, but it's a short babydoll dress. It can be worn with the prim top (which may need some adjustments to fit the shape) OR without it (the textured version is included).

New item for The dressing Room.



It's greyish purple and it includes an optional undershirt in a contrasting hue (the tank is slightly sheer and it can only be worn with the sweater, it's not on a separate layer).
The sweater is nice without chest prim too.

Okay so... this post is not related to Fishy Strawberry, but I NEEDED to share the news. Which is mainly sad news, because The Music Hotel, home to V. Casa furniture designs, by my friend Alexand Vantelli, is closing.
Since there's always a bright side if you're one of those optimistic people whose glass is always half full rather than half empty, everything is 50%. After tonight everything will be gone, forever, so it's really a shame if you've never checked it, because Alex makes some adorable furniture. Here's a sample (but you can find much more at the location).







So, go grab something before it's all gone!

Like the previews available at the Dressing Room, each color includes two versions: a shorter version (to wear over pants or skirts) and a longer one, which can be worn alone as minidress.
Please, note that the top bra is sculpted, so it might need some adjustments to fit the shape (It is modifiable.)

Tube Top - Dress for TDR

We've been MIA for a while, but we're back.
Fishy Strawberry has been invited to be a guest for The Dressing Room and there is a new release, exclusive for the event.



The top comes in two colors: grey and dust blue.
Each color includes a shorter version (to wear over pants or skirts) and a longer one, which can be worn alone as minidress.

You get both colors for 60L.

The upper part of the top is completely sculpted, so it may need some adjustments to fit the different shapes. On a brighter note, though, it allows cam perving the cleavage and it's ideal if you're tired of tube tops that stretch awfully on the breasts (especially if your avatar is quite endowed.)

Soon, there will be more variants ready, but this special version, with a decadent, "military" feel, won't be available again once it disappears from The Dressing Room.
